Have you ever found yourself with a pile of tiny soap pieces cluttering up your bathroom counter? Or maybe you've struggled to hold onto those slippery little remnants while trying to get clean in the shower. Well, fear not, because the soap saver is here to save the day (and your sanity)!
I'm kidding here, but my husband is to blame.Â
The thought behind the soap saver is a funny one. I love my husband to death, but he claims his hands are too big for when the soap starts to get really small. So he continuously puts them on the soap dish on the counter. There is always a pile of small soap pieces and it drives me crazy. The original need for the soap saver bag was to collect all these little pieces. Once I had one in my hands, I realized I could use it for a lot of things.
So many uses, so little time
When I first brought the soap saver into the shower, I had no idea how versatile it would be. These uses are tried and true.
Not only does it collect all those pesky soap scraps, but it also doubles as a fantastic exfoliating washcloth! After shaving, I simply lather up the soap saver and gently scrub my skin. I used it on my face a few times, but think it was too rough. Honestly, it was perfect for legs and a great back scratch.
There is a couple more things too. The soap saver is also a genius makeshift soap dish!
Ha! I found that by mistake actually.
I have small shelves in my stand-up shower, and folding the soap saver in half creates the perfect little holder for my soap. No more slippery soap sliding around and off the damn shelf. It always.....always, landed on my foot. -.-
Sharing the soap saver love
After using the soap saver for several weeks, I decided I needed to share this little gem with the world. I mean, who wouldn't want a solution to their soap scraps dilemma? So here I am, spreading the word about the soap saver and its many uses.
Not only does the soap saver save your soap, but it also saves your sanity. No more soap pieces cluttering up your bathroom counter or slipping out of your hands in the shower. It's a simple yet brilliant invention that will make your daily cleansing routine a whole lot easier (and more enjoyable).
It makes a great addition to gift baskets as well. I like putting together spa type baskets for my sisters and friends. This is a really cute accessory to go with a bath bomb, bar of soap or some hair products.Â
Happy sudsing!
