Where We Started

This all started as a small idea and a big dream. My husband wanted to quit his job and spend more time with the kids. I wanted to make my own hours and not be tied down to a bigger corporation. As the idea started growing, I started looking into sustainable materials. It was harder than I expected to get manufacturers to agree to supply my small business. But tried, I did.

I started the LLC and worked on reaching out to manufacturers. I decided on several different avenues, recycled ocean plastic, organic textiles, apple leather and other recyclables. The plan was to just try and get one of them to stick.

I also wanted a line for the growing group of people that can't afford or don't want a larger house. People living in dorms, apartments, trailers, tiny homes, or trying to bring life into an office space. Just because something is small, doesn't mean it can't be modern, helpful or affordable.

I spend hours after work and on my days off sourcing products and filling out paperwork. It took more time and money than most influencers will lead you to believe. But I was on a mission this time and I wasn't going to give up.

When the loss becomes too great, that's usually when I back away. But I was determined to follow through this time and I'm so happy I did.
